Glacial Golden Gate
I think this is the last GGB picture from New Year's, although I am headed back this weekend ;-)

Process:
This almost feels like cheating, it was so easy
This year I am focusing on more journaling, to capture my thoughts as well as what I do.
Started with Artsy Paper 1 from APP Glacial and just plopped my picture in the white area. Then I used various of the brushes from AnnaBlendz Artsy No 6 to blend it (I just pile up these brushes on top of my photo, noting the edge blending or transparency I am trying to achieve; then I merge them all, move it under my photo, clip and adjust the size as necessary).
Added several embellishments in a cluster, added the loops on the left side and bottom to frame things, wrote my journaling. I found this wonderful poem about the bridge, so I copied the whole thing onto the left side of my page in a fancy font (Palace Script MT), then set it to Vivid Light, 70% opacity, so it almost looks like scriptease, and used a low opacity soft-edged eraser to blend it into the edges of the photo/mask, then added the first stanza to my journaling. Added a few more brushes and embellishments to the right side and I was done with one of the fastest pages I have made so far this year
