I started by making the photo a little bit sharper. I duplicated the photo and cropped the second one in a rectangle. I placed them both in my new file the cropped one on top! Under the bottom photo I placed a Fotoblendz overlay and I clipped my photo on it and merged them. I placed another Fotoblendz overlay above that layer and clipped my second photo on it. I set the blend mode to overlay! I placed a snowy fotoblend under the first photo and painted it blue. (As an extension of my shadow) I added the frame, made it larger and duplicated it! Placed them over the photos and masked out some overlapping. I did a bit of perspective transforming on the frames! I added my transfers and brushes under the photos! I resized all the layers a bit and placed them on the left side of my page! I added the elements and text and sampled out the color for the text with the pipet from the color picker. I added a bit of warmth on the white paper (right side mostly) by making a selection on a new layer and filling in with color and blurred it with the gaussian blur. (If its still too much you can lower the opacity)
Oh, Margie, this is so beautiful -- what quiet solitude -- I really love how your photo extends beyond the frames ... seems to say "there is so much more." Peace-filled.
This is going directly in my favs! So many unique techniques - love the blue shadow on the FB and love the yellowish tint on the left side! Thanks for the info!
