The first of a gazillion wedding layouts (apologies in advance), my son having just become a newlywed this past Sunday.

Notes on Process:
This layout was an exercise in the deconstruction of the new Wild Autumn Artsy Transfers. Basically, I opened them all in the photo bin and then picked out the metallic, textured, and neutral parts, kind of like a crow scavenging. I started with a single mask from one of the transfers, dragged it into my layout, and clipped my first photo to it. Then I added two solid papers from the matching artplay palette, trying out blending modes until I got what I was after. I then built up the layers around the photo one piece at a time adding pieces from each of the transfers and trying them in different positions. I repeated the process for the second photo. At the end I blended some of the edges of the transfer pieces using layers masks, then added the WoodWord and button. Last was the quote and the who/what/where at the bottom of the page.
