This gorgeous Easter lily bloomed the last part of May... far outside its Easter season... it is in a planter in my back yard and has been there for several years... It is a testament to how beautiful and mild our winter/ spring has been this year. ..Similar to the coast, 3 hours west of here, which is a prime growing spot for nurseries specializing in Easter lilies... there were 11 blooms total and they all opened!!! I photographed it every day, catching the latest opening...but the first ones were dying by the time the last ones opened!!! so I did nto get them all open at once in one photo....
