Process: I dragged all the layers of template 39_B to a new blank document and then reduced the size to about 85%. I subsituted a frame and mask from 35_A to accommodate my photos. I struggled with how to make the color in the photos work with the pansy photo taken that week until I converted all the photos to black and white. Then I experimented with three of the new Lightleaks, changing the blend modes and opacities, clipping and masking, to provide some color so that it wasnt just a black and white page against the strong color in the pansies. I clipped layers from Artsy Transfers Whimsy to the journaling blocks, recoloring the pink stains and adjusting the position of some layers. I added three elements, recoloring the heart and button with hue and saturation adjustment. I used a different technique that involves desaturating two b&w layers and then adding color between to change the ribbons color. I placed the edge templates and recolored them a soft yellow to work with the opposing page. I finished my journaling and added a few threadz.
