The Art of the Brick

Nigel and I have been HUGE fans of Lego and have been building since he was three years old. In the past six years we've probably constructed over 100 models. So to kick off his birthday celebration this year we went to the Franklin Institute to see the new Lego exhibition. It was absolutely amazing!! The biggest model Nigel and I have done was about 700 bricks. Most of the models in this exhibition consisted of tens of thousands of bricks. Some stretching from floor to ceiling. Needless to say, Nigel and I were blown away!! (as well as inspired).

a great way to start the birthday celebrations! it is amazing what can be done with these little molded plastic pieces. if you don't have your heart set on keeping every one of your creations there is a pleygo site that allows to "rent" kits put them together then send them back.
