Fingers of God

Journaling reads: I remember when I was little, my mom would always tell us that clouds which had the rays of the sun coming through them were the fingers of God. I was always fascinated by how beautiful the sky looked when the rays of light were coming through the clouds. Now, every time I see cloud formations like this, I think of my mom, and growing up. Such delightful times.

My Process: I began with the background paper, and added the photo frame and then the photo. I then began adding various transfers and brushes from AP Breakaway. Part of the transfers were placed under the photo and frame, but others were placed on top. I added the light leaks, and placed them on blend mode color burn. I added the urban stitches, and then placed the sun charm on top. I then copied portions of the stitches, and placed them above the string, to make it look like it was holding it down. I added the wood word relax, and lightened it, and then placed the wordstrip on top, creating a custom shadow. I added the title, using 3 different fonts, and graduated the colors. I placed one of the Watercolor FotoBlendz to the right of the photo, and recolored it to a deep torquoise, and then placed it on blend mode color burn. I added the journaling, and called it finished!

I love your story, and of course your page... Have never heard that sentiment about the rays of the sun... It will be part of my thought process now... thank you so much for sharing.... not sure how you achieved the white raised squiggles on the right side??? They were what caught my eye first....
