For The
Mystery Pot Luck Challenge
My challenge was to scrap a layout using pink, a flower, a picture of me and a letter to my ancestors leaving behind a legacy.
This is a letter to my future family.
I have been forced into doing this by my
dear friend Kat. She is on a forum with me
called Oscraps, its on the computer! Anyway
she told me I need to make a layout leaving
my legacy to my ancestors, that will be you.
The day is Wednesday 16th July 2008, and
that picture is me, Catriona at age 34, a
wife, mother, sister and daughter. Hobbies are
digiscrapping and horse riding. I dont work at the
moment, I gave up dentistry 8yrs ago and IT management 5yrs ago. I dont know what the picture to you says about me, but all I can tell you is
that I am not a serious person.
My husband Colin is, but that is a
good thing, we compliment one another. But one thing I am serious about is my faith in God.
I am not overly religious but I have my faith and hope. I speak to God through prayer daily and worship on a Sunday and my children are brought up the same way.
Actually, my ancestors have been brought up the same way. I take God seriously more so now. I have
turned my back on him when I was younger, but I am thankful I found him again. I learnt
that no matter what, God will always be there for me, through hard times and good times.
He often sends little test to see how strong my faith is. Just the same as he did for Lot, even when I want to give up I am given some sort of sign to show that God, the Holy Spirit is with me.
Even though I have my faith, it doesnt stop me having fun, quite the contrary, I am the worlds biggest doofus. I believed that Buffalos had wings, I mean why call them buffalo wings in the first place? I like to have fun, I love to laugh, I am a bigger kid that my own two, I just choose to have God part of that too and I hope that you, my family will choose the same life, have fun.
