My grandmother came to this country in her teens. She once told me that she married my grandfather because he was a nice man. Her mother and father were unable to come to the wedding as they were still in Germany. I often wonder what she wrote in her letter telling them that she was getting married.

The Process
I began the page by selecting the psd file artsy transfer 1 from Artsy Transfers Behold. I clipped my photo to several layers to blend it in, then merged the layers and brought it into a 12x12 page. I added solid paper 3 from AP Behold and layered several transfers on the paper. I layered the stamps with a transfer from AP Traveler over them. Postmarked 1 stamps were added to the page. Embellishments, faded words travel and title were added to complete the page.
