So...I am an admitted NON-shopOholic. Hate hate hate shopping. I see no real reason why I need "retail" therapy, I prefer a "glass of wine therapy!" I knew it was going to take a bit of extra creativity. Technically, I didn't shop for these boots, I got them as a gift. But I did pick them out from the website so maybe that counts? Anyway, the word art by Sue was pretty funny and it shows that they might be totally *not* like glass slippers but a new pair of Dr Martens are always a good thing.
To do the word art, I added a layer in between the two papers. I rasterized the layer and then used the bucket tool to fill the layer. Then I typed my phrase on top of the black paper using the Type Mask tool, hit clear to delete that and then the pink layer peeks through.
For the challenge, we had to use something sparkly, so I "framed" my photo with pretty beads from City Sidewalks and used a glitter style on paint from shopOholic. The font I used, 1942 report also adds some grunge to the page, which seems to be like me- a combination of girlie bad-ass Smile
