Journaling reads: It seldom snows in San Diego, so it was such a treat when a cold spell went through the southwest, and Cora was able to experience something that seldom happens in San Diego County. There was not much accumulation on the ground, but enough to experience a winter wonderland on the last day of 2014. She had fun trying to catch snowflakes on her tongue.

The Process: I began with the inspiration piece Snow Cool by TerryB https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30721. I placed the polka dot paper from AP Winter Sunrise, and blended in the photo. The photo is in multiple layers, the top layer being just the extracted figure. The second layer was the blending in of the ground below. I used a soft brush for the ground, with an opacity of about 20%, slowly blending the snow and grass back in, until I got the desired result. I then began adding the different ArtsyTransfers, moving some items, and turning off other layers. Some of the snowflake images from the transfers were duplicated, rescaled, and moved around the page. I added the title, creating the look of a sticker with one font. I then added the paper snowflake, the button, and the journaling. I finished up with the scripttease overlay, changing its color to that of Coras coat, emphasizing the sunset colors of the ArtPlay.
