I used a sketch effect for my photo before I started with my page. I began to put the transfers I was going to use above the background paper, linked them and clipped the photo to it. I tried to use the striped paper but it looked to cluttered together with the photo. I was not happy with how my photo was blended with Pin Light into the transfers and background. The horse got the white color I wanted but parts of my granddaughter's clothes got lost and the face and hair got a look I didnt like. I solved it by adding multiple copies of the photo and erased that I didn't want to change and each of them got a blend mode that fit in and I got the uniform effekt I wanted. Some of the transfers I used had a straight lined side. I erased it gently and put another transfer above to cover the part I erased. In the end, I used the striped paper clipped to a transfer in the bottom.
First off - any layout with a horse, gets extra points from me, but this is stunning - horse or not! If you hadn't already gotten a Standing O from Deb, I would have had to give you one - well deserved!
