Journaling reads: I have to say that I am not a shocking pink/purple lover, but there was something about this ornament that stopped me when I first saw it in the Macys Christmas Shoppe. I think it was because it was definitely not what one would think to create for an ornament - No conventional colors here for sure! So after much thought and pondering, I decided to buy it. My best friend Joanie was with me and she loved the color, as pink was her favorite, so she thought it would be a good buy. I remember we were both working at the Yale Co-op, and would head down to the mall for shopping after work some days. I was big on saving my money, and I remember really questioning whether I should spring for this ornament, as it was more than what I wanted to spend. I remember it was the 2nd ornament that I had purchased for my collection. Still, after all these years, it holds a special place in my heart, almost saying that it is the unconventional in me that makes me love this glass ball so much. It certainly screams for attention when it is placed on the tree branch, and adds that special touch. I now think back to the day I bought it and am so glad I decided to splurge for this unconventional beauty!

ScriptTease Christmas No. 2 http://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=32244&page=1
The Process: I began with a kardstock from AP Star, and added the star overlay to it. I added a few additional stars from WaterColor Stars. I then placed the photo, and used the techniques from AnnaBlendz No. 4 http://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=10010902&cat=422&page=1 to blend the photo. I placed the two thin frames, and masked out the portions where the ornament was. I added the journaling, the title and year. Duplicating the title and year, I changed the bottom layer to pink, and moved it down and to the right to allow a hint of the pink to show. I then began adding additional transfers from AP Star. I added the Beaded Threadz, and an UrbanStitch. Under the photo layer I added the Text Transfer from AP Christmas Magic, as well as a bit of blended striped paper from AP Shabby Christmas. On top of the photo I added the ScriptTease, masking the text that fell on the ornament. I placed the ScriptTease text on Blend Mode Divide to turn it white. I placed a CoolGlow (with bokeh) and recolored it to pink, placing one below the photo and in the upper left corner as well. I added spatters in both black and white and the glitter star in 3 of the corners. I then added the WordArt, changing it to pink. I edged the page in 2 different SparkleEdge Overlays, and called it finished.
