Process: Ive been practicing with my pen tool on my little tablet again. I think adjusting my path with the command and option key really helped this time, both on the text path and the extraction. That is how I began this layout, using one of Annas arrow loops for a pattern for my text path. I had to made the curves different once I got beyond the first loop in order to make it work with my layout. I played with my journaling along that path, the content and size. Next I extracted a photo of a leaf from my little Sunset Maple. I placed another photo of that same tree bare on the left, used the magic wand tool to eliminate all the white background and gave the branches a shadow. Below the tree, I placed watercolor tree 1_7. I clipped three color fill layers above, used the masks to eliminate parts so that the color below would look like I actually used watercolors. I adjusted the blend modes, changing the tree to linear light. I did something similar with an overlay from Autumn Soul in the top right corner for balance. Next, I duplicated my leaf, moved it around the layout and gave each a custom shadow. I used leaf sprinkle 6 and gave it an extra shadow for a little more dimension. I added the title with warm glow 7_1 just below that.
