I thought my Mum was the most beautiful mum in the world and when I was young I used to ask her what age she was...she was always 27...it took me a while to realise that couldn't be right LOL!!! I've scrapped this pic before but I'm finally happy with this page! 
This page is about going shopping with my Mum. A huge treat was a cafe called Serafini's where she would get a coffee in a glass cup (Wow!) and I would get an Ice Cream float made with American cream soda...On really, really special occasions we would venture to the back of the cafe where they served fish and chip teas...Oh the sheer decadence of it when you are four!
I masked the photograph then used a Watercolour brush to reveal the bits I wanted, focussing on figures, I changed the opacity of the brush so you can still see other shoppers in the background. I duplicated the photograph layer and changed the top layer to soft light. I then extracted the figures and duplicated another twice, changing both layers to Hard Light. I then layered various transfers and photo glows between the duplicated photographs; these were changed to either luminosity, colour or hard light mode.
