My Story
I think people thought I was crazy. How can I possibly breastfeed twins! But no one said anything. Perhaps they wanted me to prove myself wrong. Well, it didnt happen. Breastfeeding my full-term twins was one of the most rewarding experiences I could ever have done. We had some issues, but not many. I had lots of milk and they enjoyed the good stuff. Everyone would ask me, How long are you going to nurse? I always replied that I didnt know. My support started to lag right before a year was up, but I kept going. It was part of my routine and the twins were thriving! Who could argue that they werent getting the best food I could offer them? I think people thought I was crazy nursing them to 26 months old. So, I guess I must be if I nursed twins succesfully. I woudnt have it any other way!
