Random Thoughts about Shoes

Here's my entry for the Sept 2014 Journaling Challenge about SHOES!

I've created a few pages over the years about my relationship with shoes, so took a rather different route for this challenge.

As some aren't very readabel, here's what I've written:

I really love the Asian tradition of removing ones shoes before entering the house. We have done this ever since living there and have a shoe cupboard bursting at the seams in the back of the sitting room. Guests, at least the small ones, are expected to remove their shoes also.

Flip flops are really hard to drive in.

I love my walking boots for dog walks, even when its hot as they offer so much support.

I now have to use orthotics in my shoes to help the Planter Fascilitis. They are bulky, ugly and necessitate buying larger sized shoes.

Thanks to the orthotics, I now walk like the 46 yr old that I am, rather than the 86 yr old my feet make me feel.

My shoe size used to be 4 until I fell pregnant with Ginny. Then my feet grew to size 6.

Cheap wellies arent worth it.

Occasionally I have been known to leave the house still wearing my slippers. Whoops.

Totally adore how you filled the shoe with your text! I have gone out of the house in slippers too!

Love all of your random thoughts on shoes!! Wow I had no ideal that feet size could change with pregnancy?? It must have been hard to find such small sized shoes before!

Great layout and I relate especially to "Occasionally I have been known to leave the house still wearing my slippers. Whoops."
