Here's my entry for Maya's Spotlight Challenge 1 - altered art dream house.
When we were in Singapore we lived in first an apartment then a bungalow - both of which are considered poor relations to houses with stairs in my native Britain. But I discovered I loved living on one floor, and whilst you can keep apartment living as far as I'm concerned, I totally adored our kooky Black&White (a specific form of housing in Singapore). My current house in London has 6 flights of stairs - no, really!
So my dream house would be a massive single storey affair, with lots of different roof heights and possibly building materials, probably not in a single row as I've created here, but you get the picture.
So I have created one BIG dream house out of Maya's lovely freebie, her absolutely fabulous Zen & the Art of Architecture and I even found she'd created a grass I could add in her Home Sweet Home kit. I printed it all out, got out my journal, glue and inks and created this double spread.
