Thanks so much for your comments. Debby I used Photoshop's default brush #100 rough round bristle and sized it to 600 px. Blending normal and opacity around 40% (Of course the size and opacity changes with different strokes to make it interesting). The I dragged the brush as if I were painting on a real canvas.
