Here's my entry for the July 2014 Photo Challenge to scrap a photo that makes me sad - my daughter struggling through the transition to being a teenager.
Journaling reads:
She feels the world, or more specifically Dominic & I, is against her. She thinks we dont understand her and are being deliberately unreasonable. She thinks she cant be the real her in front of us. She thinks we dont care. But we do, my darling. It makes us so sad that she is struggling through this phase into teenage hood. We want to help her but she is pushing us away and doesnt want us to be involved. She doesnt realise that we have both lived through this ourselves and far from not understanding, actually we get it completely. But in the mean time this period is difficult and unpleasant for us all. Heres hoping it will be short lived.
