Journaling reads: One of my earliest memories of San Diego is of exploring Seaport Village. I remember the many hours I spent there, as it was the first place I thought of when I had nothing to do. What a wonderful place to go to drink in the seaside atmosphere, and to stroll along the water, with the Coronado Bay Bridge in the distance, and the sound of motor boats speeding by, exploring the specialty shops, art galleries, having lunch over the water, and enjoying the various outdoor exhibits & entertainers, flying kites bought at the kite shop, or just stopping to breath in the salt air. Back then there were no hotels or marina by the seaside, but now it is a big draw for tourists, boaters, plus the Convention Center is there as well. I smile as I walk by one of the hotels and the Convention Center knowing that I had a part in their being built. What a wonderful way to spend the day, and oh, so relaxing!!!

The Process: I began with Annas new WaterColor Templates. I added the photos, and then added the background KardStock. I then began changing the colors of the various layers of the template to best work with the photos. I added the elements, and some brush work under the photos. I finished with the title, and then decided to edge the page with the darker neutral paper, and added the border stitching.
