I have to say I moved to San Diego to get away from the cold, but still I do love to spend some time, now and then, enjoying the winter, of course knowing I will be going home to the warmth of Poway were we maybe get one or two frosts each winter.

Sweet Christmas Elements
The process: I began with one of the gorgeous artsy papers from Annas new kit. I duplicated the paper, and then to deepen the colors a bit, I placed the top paper on Blend Mode Linear Burn. I added the photo, and blended it in. I duplicated it, and played around with the various blend modes, and duplicated it again, ending up with copies on Vivid Light, Multiply and Darken. Because I wanted to mask out a portion of the frame and shadow, I used the PSD version, and then using a flatten image of the photo area, I clipping that to the photo mask. I then masked out the bottom portion of both the frame and the shadow layer. I added the various elements, and the quote and called it finished.
