The Process. I began with an Artsy Paper from AP Ocean Cove. I placed the photo, and blended it into the background. I applied the blend mode Color Burn to this photo. I copied the photo, and put the photo on the top of the layer stack on the Normal Blend Mode, but brought its opacity down to about 45%. This allowed much of the wonderful texture and pattern from the Artsy Paper to show through. I copied the photo once more, but masked everything out, and then painted back in just the figures, and a bit of the figure shadows. I added the spatter from DifferentStrokes No. 7, and placed them on Blend Mode Divide, turning them white, almost mimicking beach spray. I applied the ScriptTease Travel just below the figures, and then added the lace transfer from AP SaltyLiving (my very favorite), changing its blend mode to Linear Light. I added the button (my favorite button ever!!!), at the end of the scalloped lace edge. I then added the quote in the area to the right of the button. I added a few tissue textures to the lower portion of the paper, and then added two overlays, one from ScriptTease Life, and the other one from Hipster Plume Overlays no. 1. I exaggerated the sunset by added the WarmGlow, changing its color slightly, and masking half of it out, so it just looked like rays coming from the bottom of the cloud. I finished up by adding the two hand drawn words, changing their color to the warm golden color of the sunset and the button. How I love to do beach layout!!!
