Journaling reads: There is not much that Cora loves more than spending time in the pool. Her new noodle chair gives her the freedom to swim all over the pool with ease, and she is learning what it takes to swim in the safety of this noodle chair. She is our silly little NOODLE baby!

The Process: I began with one of the Artsy Templates from DuoPack No. 5. I attached my photos, and I allowed the photos to spill out from the frames by placing the Abstract FotoBlendz No. 7s behind the photos at the very top and bottom of the cluster, duplicating the photos, and clipping them to that mask. I then applied a layer mask to the frames of those two photos, and painted out potions to make it look like Cora was breaking out from the frame. I then began to change colors and blend modes to the layers of the template. I used the 12X12 FotoBlendz Clipping Mask to attach a grid patterned paper to it allowing the grid to disappear as it reached the edge of the layout. I added some additional brush work, and the water drops, the Urban Stitchez and FotoTurns to the edges of the photo frames, along with the LoopDaLoop. I scaled down the entire layout, and edged the layout with the purple polka dot paper to mimic the purple in the photos. I placed a soft purple paper from the Weathered Neutrals, and then softened the Polka Dot paper by bringing down its opacity. I added the stitches to the edge of the layout. I finished up with the title and the journaling, and placed the bird brush in the lower right gazing up at Cora. The date was placed beside the bird.
