I am supposed to be working--at my job, not at scrapbooking!!--but I started this page last night and wanted to complete it while my muse was still at my side. I'm still finishing up a few pages for my Chicago vacation book, and thought I'd better take advantage of her presence.
So, this page was partly inspired by the latest AnnaChallenge--SoftTones https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26935 and also by Adryane's very cool tutorial http://annaaspnes.typepad.com/anna/...spired-edge-templates-as-a-clipping-mask.html. Both the challenge and Adryane's tut gave me a way to soften a harsh street scene. Street scenes are by nature sort of harsh and grungy, but I have an idea for a companion page for this, and the softer look will be a better match. I didn't want to make it too soft and stationary, though, so I added motion filters to some of the cars.
Okay, I'd better get back to my real job before my boss wanders over and wants to know what I'm doing...akk! Here he comes! Gotta go!
