This beautiful church in Redding, CA is quite amazing... the massive walls are of concrete with huge stones placed in the concrete during the construction process... they used wads of newspaper to separate them and from spaces between... The backdrop for the front alter is constructed in the same manner and houses a massive wood burning fireplace that is actully used during services in the winter...the whole right wall is all glass looking out to a private garden and over head on the left side are triangles filled with back lit stained glass...
