not easy, the teen thing when you are the parents. I know is not easy when you are the child either...and neither of us is perfect, far from that...but we used to have a great relationship...I m desperate for the teen years to be over & done with.

I lost so many years w my mom - thankfully we are fine now again - but so much pain
I wonder if things would have been different if my mom tried to talk to me about how she was feeling without a gallon of guilt meds to go with it. I am rather sure I never got that I was truly hurting her by shutting her of, al I wanted was to have enough space to find out what I wanted in life.

What a wonderful page and journaling....hard subject though...after raising two daughters, I can tell you...yes they become "smarter than you" in every way....so they think....but as they became adults and started having children of their own...they come right back to you...and you become their best friend again!!! You hang in there sweetie!!! It will get better!!
