Story:
They say the calm comes from the storm, and I believe for the most part, for this to be true. Ella and Luke spent the afternoon and night on Saturday with the McGowans leaving Eric and I at a loose end with time to take the dogs on a long walk along the reservoir. I adore where we live. Close enough to have access to amenities but also the opportunity to escape it all. I have spent many hours biking, running and strolling in just this spot. It was a beautiful morning to spend with my boys in slow-mode. So much done and still more yet to come. 22 Dec 2012
