I was so intrigued by this sketch of my daughters. She probably will not like me documenting the sketch, but I am sure years from now, she will be glad I did. She has a great deal of imagination something I felt I always lacked. I am hoping over time I will create a binder of layouts of her art work.

Journaling Reads: In Rachels Jr. Year of High School, she took a class in Graphic Arts. For all their assignments, the students had to pitch their projects to the class as if they were the client. They would do so with sketches of what they expected to create using Illustrator and Photoshop. Frankly, she hated the computer portion of each project as she is more a traditional artist, and hates sitting at the computer. This project was to create a TREE GIRL, and her plan was to create half of the girl as a country tree girl, and the other half a city version, with leaves in her hair, and skin of bark, etc. I loved the sketch.
