We took a day trip on the last day of summer this year, and were surprised to see fields of cultivated flowers. We couldn't get close enough to see what they were, but it was a beautiful contrast to see them next to a field of spent grasses.

I was inspired by the flower and the idea of moving from season to season.

Those contrasts made a fabulous photo and a very painterly image. Love the dark background for it.
