Grandpa Traveled to Heaven

Thursday evening, while walking home from a local baseball game, my grand children's paternal grandfather died. He is their hero, their buddy. He was only 68 and we thought the healthiest of us all. He climbed trees, fished, walked 8 - 10 miles a day and had the best moments of his life with the precious grandchildren he loved. He is so missed. To see the heartbreak of deep grief in my grandchildren is one of the most difficult moments of my life. We cut flowers Friday morning from my garden and tied them to the fence of the school where he died. Bless you Cliff.

Thank you for the page inspiration Marnie. Supplies by Anna.
Lorrie, my heart just aches for you and the childrenand for all who miss him. I love your idea to cut garden flowers and tie them to the fence.Sending prayers, thoughts, hugs as all of you grieve and heal.

So honored to have inspired any part of this tribute page.

Oh my. How I ache for you and especially the children. This hits pretty close to home and DH and I are nearing that age. This is a beautiful tribute.

i'm sorry for their loss - they all seem so sad.
Love what you did with them with the flowers.
They will treasure this page, i'm sure!

So sorry to hear of the loss of a family member. Life is so fragile, but you have created a beautiful tribute for your children.

I'm so, so sorry - such a hard time for all of you. Your layout is inspirational and will be a cherished memory over the years.

Thank you everyone for your support. Our 9 yr. old grandson decided this afternoon to go play in his baseball game. We all watched as he scored a run for his grandpa! It was really good for him and us.

I'm so sorry for your loss Lorrie. Beautiful page - the photograph of the children is incredibly moving...
