Ann you have one beautiful daughter! And the bangs look awesome on her..very cute!! sometimes when flatten an image that we've used layer styles and esp. the drop shadow..it changes like that..you can go back and undo the flattening step and go back and tweak that layer, lighten up the drop shadow and even the color somewhat..and I find that making that layer into a smart object..it's less likely to alter too much when flattened..just some thoughts. Nonetheless, the grey is lovely too!

Awesome mirror effect!

I love the bangs. It makes her beautiful eyes stand out. I was also going to suggest what Vicki (oldvwblues) added above about flattening images. It's happened to me before, too. Follow what Vicki said. It helps to maintain the color when flattening.
