A Glimpse of History

Journalling reads:

"It was great to find that Keiths mum had been sent some old family photos by relatives. Amongst them was this photo of Keiths great grandfather, Ellerby Cox (centre front), who we discovered was the bandmaster for the Lincoln Malleable Iron Works Silver Band from 1895 to 1947. During that time the Band had many successes including, on 25 September 1920, being awarded second prize at Crystal Palace Band Contest in the Championship Section. The prize for this honour was 50, a Daily Telegraph cup - value 50 gns, and an instrument valued at 20 given by Besson & Co, London. Who knew Keith had such musical roots!"

Supplies: Anna Aspnes - Artplay Palette Heart.

Fonts: VT Portable Remington, Bernard MT Condensed, The Maple Origins.
