This is my first layout ever. I used paislee press - this much set.
I don't know that I've saved for web very well because it looks kinda crunchy....
I'm new to all this - I have no idea about the drop shadows so any tips and pointers are welcome.
For a first layout it's fantastic. Great design - putting the ruler there provides a "shelf" balance to photos.

What a great first layout, mine did not have shadows either. I know if you do a search in or post a question in need help people will jump in with help. We would need to know what program you are using. Also check out the past creative techniques section of challenges- lots of program information in there. Can't wait to see layout # 2,3,4.......

I have read the one little bird tutorial and I did some of the things suggested - but looking here you can't even see I used shadows - I might have to be heavier handed. I'm working on a second and I'm trying to get more depth to my shadows - but I did start it before posting this one.
I'm using Photoshop CS5.
