Years and years ago, my husband lived on Hobart Street in Washington DC. Ive heard many stories of sledding down the steep winding street but here is some of the reality a bit after the childhood sledding days were over. One young son, who was called into snow shovel duty. My suburban days were much different and yet we both have a love of urban living, even if that house on Hobart Street is now way out of our price range! How things change. late 1950s-early 60s
