Cinderella Janas week 4 class

This is from Jana's week 4 class. I worked on it 6+ hours and I'm a little frustrated. I put this up at DD and I got 2 comments - Why? I want to play I want to get better and I'm just ....! Anna Forgive me I used all DD stuff but I need an answer! The dolls are by Heidi Ott and are 2 of my favorites!

I can see that you put a lot of work into this pretty page! Some of those techniques do take time and patience. I think you did a great job! :)

You did great and your page is lovely. Don't take it personally if you don't get a lot of comments, sometimes even the best layouts go unloved, we've all been there. It's not a reflection on you or your hard work! Thanks for posting it here.

Deb, your art is lovely as are your dolls! Keep your head up and keep creating. Rome wasn't built in a day and the techniques being taught are not a walk in the park as all artist and photos are different. I haven't even managed to get to that lesson yet :(

I totally agree with what has been said here so far. Blending takes a little practice, but it will come and this layout is proof that you are well on your way. You will also find your groove. For example, I love the look of extractions but personally I just don't want to spend the time doing them. You will find a level of blending that works for you. I'll be adding some AnnaBlendz videos to my store soon which will perhaps provide a different approach to blending. You're welcome in this gallery anytime, regardless of the products you like to use :)

That is a wonderful extraction (I am so too lazy to bother doing that, and it never looks that good!). I cannot believe you spent 6+ hours. Really, if you are spending that long, it HAS to be fun!! Enjoy the process, be happy with your results! Your dolls are beautiful, your composition is lovely, and it is obvious that you put your heart into the wonderful layout!

I think your layout is lovely and time spent practicing a new technique is never wasted. Beautiful composition and love the dolls!

Well, Deb, you have way more patience than I do and I think it's paying off! I just love how you've incorporated the pumpkins in the LO--highlighting the Cinderella theme! Your dolls are SO beautiful!
