What a precious photo and I love your font you used!! My sis and I used to be able to write and speak German when we were little girls. Sad to say I have lost it all with the passing of my mom and grandparents so many years ago.

ha! i just saw this in the standing o's and was coming over to find out what font you used. we actually had a very short lesson on the old handwriting when I was learning german - more of a 'fun' thing. I remember studying it and then writing (in english) in old german schrift in my journal so no one could read it. only problem, after a few months, even I couldn't read it! Now that I am IN Germany, I see how handwriting has evolved from that - sometimes I cannot read my friend's handwriting at all!
