having once had two Madagascar hissing cockroaches as pets (kids got them through mail order) i can imagine that this must have been a fun time!

love the photos - the one colour against the b/w - never heard of a bug fest but can imagine the children had a grand time!

With the title of "Bug Fest" I had to take a closer look! What a fun memory to capture...and you did so well! I love the b/w photos with just one left in color as the focal point.
