They say that you do not truly appreciate your parents until you are a parent yourself. In so many ways, I have found this to be true. Was it because I finally realized what it is to love your child so completely? Was it because I an mature enough to see how hard it is to be a parent, to know you need to let your children stand on their own? No matter what the reason is, I do know how much I love and admire my parents. for all that they have done and continue to do for me.
