Rock On

I am just fascinated with all the paper blending I'm seeing here, so this is my first attempt. Is it just a matter of spending hours hitting different blend modes or is there some easier way? I could use any help if you'd pm me or leave message in comments.

oh.. oh.. i LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!! what an AWESOME picture... ESPECIALLY with that paper! and yes... it is just a matter of hitting different blend modes. lol. i haven't found an easier way yet. i sometimes duplicate layers and change that blend mode and play with the opacity on some layers... i just keep clicking until i'm happy. :) it sometimes takes a while, but it's ALWAYS worth it in the end. it was CERTAINLY worth it here! this turned out AMAZING!

Love the blending! And, yes, its just a matter of playing with blend modes. Perhaps something you haven't discovered yet is that you can "scroll" through the blend modes drop down by using your mouse scroll wheel instead of clicking, pulling, clicking, pulling (pulling being the drop down list)

I think this is gorgeous! Wonderful work on blending. Its a matter of practice I believe, and I think you're doing fabulous!

Very cool!! Blending is definitely a matter of just playing and playing some more. I think you definitely have the hang of it though! Wonderful page!

Love the look of your LO. Awesome first attempt at blending modes. Laughed at your description (sorry) sometimes the cool stuff just takes time and lots of experimenting of modes and papers. Hope you can do what Vicki suggested- it's really fun to just scroll through the modes. Really a cool croppoing of the guitar grouping.
