Don't Blink

I created this because of a tragedy that occurred this weekend. My neighbor's husband had come home from a deployment and the next day went for a motorcycle ride. When he was less than a mile from home a car pulled out in front of him and his family's life is forever changed. In that instant his family soon lost a husband, a father and a Marine. My heart breaks for them and it has made me realize that it only takes an instant for your entire life to flip upside down.

I was inspired to create this for this month's Creative Techniques challenges - Art Journaling. https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?p=294066#post294066 I didn't follow the rules but I thought I'd include it anyway.

Oh Clara, how you have the energy to be creative at a time like this is amazing. That you've produced such an awe inspiring piece of art is fabulous. My heart goes out to your neighbours and to you & your DH for being there for them.

Clara, what a heartbreaking story. We take so much for granted and this family's tragedy just stuns me..........your page is a work of art and I will keep this family in thought.

This is so heartbreaking! My son is a Marine (even though he is no longer on active duty he will always be a Marine) and he made it home safe but I hated it when he would drive from NC to NJ for just a weekend. I was always afraid of the crazy drivers on our roads. I am so sorry for their loss. Thanks for sharing this page I hope creating it helped you!
