What started off as a fun way to commemorate my niece's first day of high school had me crying in my cola by the time I was through. Seriously, where does the time go?!?

Her father, my BIL, tried to photograph her in secret as she walked away, but she saw him and gave him a final smile before rounding the corner and disappearing from view. He said tears were welling up in his eyes as she walked away, and that's why the photos get progressively worse. I quite like the blurring of them and, in fact, I blurred that last one even more; I think it works well for the theme of this page!
