In 5 Years

Here is my LO for TinaMarie's Challenge "Where Do I See Myself in 5 Years" https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19458

Journaling:
n 5 years the biggest change in my life is that my husband will no longer be in the Army. He will have been out of the Army for about 6 months. While I do not mind being an Army wife I will look forward to many things. I will look forward to living in my own house. I wont have to rent my house out to strangers hoping that they take good care of it. I will no longer have to argue with my husband about whether or not he should retire and what career options are the best for our family. We will get to make decisions about where we live and who we work for based on our own decision and not some guy far away who doesnt even know us. I will get to go to my own church and shop in the stores I enjoy instead of these crazy places here. I will no longer argue with my husband about things related to the Army and what is best for our family. We will have a whole new set of obstacles and life will be different but I am definitely looking forward to that day.

I'm an ex-army wife too Clara, so I can TOTALLY relate to pretty much everything you've said here! I didn't even move around that much with my DH (he left the army 3yrs after we got married), but even so, just being able to have our own home & know he's not going to get deployed into a "war-zone" at a moments notice, is just such a relief! Not long to wait now

Being married to RCMP is not too much different Clara, but I don't have to worry about him getting deployed at least! Love your journalling! I hope you get everything you want to in five years!!

Clara, I can understand your yearning to have the stability of your own home, church, town and making decisions that are yours and not the Army's.

Great job on this challenge!!!

Beautiful journaling, Clara... looks like this is gonna be a new chapter of your life... God bless your family...
Simply gorgeous page, sweetie...

WOW so big changes will come to your family. Unlike you, I've moved from my mother's house to my husband's in 43 years (if you exclude college and Singapore) so I'm not big on moving around. Here's hoping it all works out how you want it to.
