"Because I didn't know before... Because I was thinking being a mum would be so easy... Because I had a lot of prejudice... Because I thought I would do better than other mums...
And then you were there and it was so different than I expected, than I planned! You were not the baby of the book, you were not sleeping when you were meant to be, you were not eating as you should, you were not obeying... at all, you were this little thing out of control, screaming and upsetting all what I've know before... And I experienced the lack of sleep, the lack of time, the lack of patience... And even at some point, I would feel like I would be better without kid and then cry so much of being able to feel that way... But we made it! You changed me...
YOU MADE ME A MOTHER!
And now I know... I know it's not easy to be a mum, but it's amazing too! I know how it feels to be able to care so much that you could die for someone! And I'm much more humble now, thanks to you... And I'm so proud that you are different, that you are thinking your own way, that you are this funny, cute, energetic little girl and I praise God that you are part of our family and that we are gonna watch you grow and change and discover the world and fall in love and become a mum when it will be time for you to be! Then you'll know!
