It never ceases to amaze me how attached we get to our jewellery (even the items we don't wear very often) ... that broach passed down from a great grandmother, those ear-rings from an auntie, a ring from our husband or even just a friendship bracelet from an old school friend! These things do bring us joy but youre so right it's not really the item that brings the happiness, it's actually the memories we associate with item, like the person who gave it, the occasion it celebrated and thankfully, those memories can NEVER be taken away from us!
