Life with my Stomach

Journaling reads:

I always battled my stomach, but didn't realize it wasn't normal until after my first year of college. By chance, I saw an article on the symptoms of ovarian cancer. After seeing my OB and having an ultra sound, I was cleared - but I was still living in pain. My GP gave me the catch-all diagnosis - IBS.
I spent the next few years constantly modifying my diet, discovering my triggers, and experimenting with supplements and medications. Each different doctor had their own theories and tests. When my gall bladder became a factor, there were even more unanswered questions. It became clear Id never have an accurate diagnosis.
Now, Ive given up on the doctors, diets, and pills. Each day I go with the flow and live with the pain.
meg i'm sorry to hear that you have given up and are living with pain .. that is definitely a huge compromise. :( Beautiful page!!

Thanks ladies!!

It honestly isn't that bad, I really have learned to live with the pain. It's one of the reasons I started my business, so I could work on my own schedule without needing to worry about showing up to work when I can barely stay vertical.

Beautiful page. Your journaling is so touching...so sorry that you have to live in pain...but glad that you've found a way to deal with it.

ok, so i don't know if it's all the inspiring journaling i've read today that has filled me with such invisible hope or what... but somehow i feel so strongly that after journaling this... something WILL come of this. i can't even imagine what it's like to live in pain everyday of your life, but the strength and patience it seems to have created in you is being put there for a reason! you should keep journaling about this... the different avenues and disappointments you encounter, because the day that prayer is answered and the breakthrough is staring you in the face... IMAGINE how wonderful it will be to look back over alllllll you've gone through and how it evolved. what a beautiful visual of hope and faith. my thoughts are with you, sweetie! thank you for sharing this!!!
