Christmas is one of my favorite times of year! This year
is no different. Last year I took a course (a scrapbooking
course) called Cut the Crazy out of Christmas. I dont
know if I cut any crazy out, but I do know that I did
finish some awesome tasks last year that I want to
accomplish this year, too...Christmas cards, decorations
galore, and handmade tags. I probably wont plan on
creating any handmade gifts for all of my friends (like
I did two years ago! wow!). This year, though I want to
enjoy every second. I recently created an advent calendar
proto-type, really, just to use as an example to sell, but
now Im planning on using it as a Gratitude countdown.
Each day I will write down something that I am grateful
for that day. This is what Im really looking forward to...
really enjoying the season with thanksgiving. Because
truly I am so thankful for the gift of Jesus at Christmas-
time most of all. My life is different because of Jesus...it
is full of grace, love, mercy, and LIFE! For that, I am
so thankful and full of anticipation for December 25th!
(btw, the pic is of the pockets of my sweet advent calendars that I'm selling this fall!!
