Journaling Reads:
When I was thirteen or fourteen, my final project for Biology was to assemble a Bug Collection. It was one of my favorite projects of all time! I really enjoyed capturing the bugs and putting them in the jar. The jar was supposed to have been treated with acetone which would kill the bugs. My bug collection was THE BEST!! My dad had helped me frame it with a picture frame so that the bugs would be displayed under glass. It looked so professional and I was so proud of it. Well, the day they were due, I put my collection in the Biology room before school for safe keeping. A few hours into school, I got an urgent page to the Biology Dept. Apparently, the concentration of acetone in my jar was not strong enough to kill my bugs and they were all MOVING on their pins! The current class was going crazy at the sight of my bugs reanimating! It was a day to remember for sure!
