i just LOVE this picture of alyssa. it's hard to believe that she was running full speed ahead here. this picture just seems to completly stop the moment so that i could reflect. and of course... i seized that moment. hehehe. lots of emotion, lots of sap. sigh.
JOURNALING; Seeing you in this light may be the most beautiful sight Ive ever seen. Suddenly, the temper tantrums you throw on a daily basis seem to disappear from my memory. The sleepless nights due your inability to adjust to life without your pacifier seem not so important. The control that your routine has over my daily life seems so insignificant. The lack of energy due to the never-ending task of keeping you entertained seems hardly noticable. But its in this same light that I feel a dread that keeps me awake at night. Suddenly, your heart seems so fragile. The path I have started you on seems so wide and full of twists and turns. The faith I have been led to share with you seems so complex and out of reach. But I am reminded, even right this moment, that this light is His. He is here for every moment I look at you and feel overwhelmed. He will be here for every moment that I worry about you or cry for you. He has given you an effortless ability to bring out emotion in me. And I must admit, seeing you in this light, may be the most beautiful sight Ive ever seen.
