I'm still looking for a picture to use with my real first memory, but this memory is about that same time frame. This is the most, really the only page with, real journalling from me, so this took me longer to make than most LOs. Anyway, here is me in June of 1990.

The text reads:

"When I was a toddler what I said I wanted to be when I grew up was not what most kids would have said.
I said I wanted to be a kangaroo.
Then not only could I carry around my tiny baby, but I could also use my pouch to carry a little bit of everything.
I had a purse, made with the same kangaroo print as my outfit in this picture, that I used as my "pouch".
It had in it: 1 marble, 1 car, 1 toy animal, 1 little baby doll, 1 army man, 1 lego ... basically one of every little thing I could find and no more than one of each.

... I still want to visit Australia"
